This is a shot from the final-year school film “L’Avenement” I worked on.
For this shot, I was in charge of the full production of the mechanical arm, covering design, hard-surface modeling, texturing in Substance Painter, rigging, animation, simulation using Maya Bifrost and the compositing on After Effect.
I only worked on the arm. The character model was created by other members of the student team.
